Thursday

First graders worked on making bald eagles. They are an American symbol. They're cool looking. People were working hard on it.

Tuesday

Today we learned about:

Mrs. Fischer was our mystery reader!

Kindergartners learned more about Egypt from Mrs. Bouhafs.  She was born there!
She read the students a story of Ms. Frizzle visiting Egypt then they got to wrap each other like mummies!

First graders had 3 presenters from the Maasai tribe in Kenya come visit Stratton School!

Monday

Kindergarteners are beginning their study on Ancient Egypt and pyramids.  They are doing background research.  On Monday, they recorded a fact that they learned.  What have you learned about Egypt so far?

First graders were busy during Centers.  Many students got to the listening center where they did a beginning, middle, and end retell after listening to the story.  What were the three foods that the giant wanted?
